Peacock 3D model

Used this project to use xgen and generating feathers which I made in photoshop.

If given more time I would have liked to make this model more realistic but given time constraint, I think its a good practice.

That wraps up this passion project, it feels really rewarding to see something through from the start to end, from a static low poly model to now a moving/breathing animation and the fact that this is a solo project, it means I had complete creative control over its direction and also all the responsibility to see this through.

I played the role of 2D artist when I had to draw in my own reference sheet, a 3D artist when I had to model and texture him, then a rigger and animator and after that the role of an audio composer mixing in the sounds your hear and lastly, video editor.

Merlion (Project: RealmDivers) | 3D Printable model

The Merlion is Singapore's iconic creature and is a monument all tourists are encouraged to see when visiting the country. However I have always thought that the Merlion looked rather tamed than a beast than one that instils fear as is their nature, so I decided to redesign the creature to be more ferocious and yet carry the same stature.

This model was modelled and animated in Blender, am a self-taught blender user learning as I go.

RealmDivers is a project I'm working on which is a game under the premise of the player fighting against other mystical creatures from other realms that may or may not be real.

What is XZZN?

It is my alias which holds a special meaning. If you take each of the alphabets in the word and combine them, you can see that the end product is a cross in a box, symbolizing “crossing the norm”. This reflects how I think when I’m working, I’m always trying to think from perspectives that others haven't thought of, constantly striving to come up with new ideas.
